Since using &lt;aside> tags isn't yet feasible, I suggested adding equivalent accessibility context using the role attribute. [[Module:Hatnote/sandbox]] has the changes ([[Special:Diff/702218800/703499537|diff]]). If anyone wants to check the results on a screen reader, I made a comparable edit to mw:'s hatnote template: [[mw:Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:Hatnote]].
